Register to Vote

Register to Vote in MN

If you’re a U.S. citizen, at least 18 years old on Election Day, and have been a resident of Minnesota for at least 20 days, you’re eligible to vote in Minnesota. It’s easy to register – just follow the step-by-step instructions on the official registration website.

Register to Vote Out of State

If you choose to register in a state other than Minnesota, you must have a registered permanent address in that state, and meet other eligibility requirements as well.

Where to Vote

Residential students

All students who live on campus that are eligible to vote, may vote by showing their Student ID at the polling location which is Jimmy Lee Recreation Center (270 Lexington Pkwy N St Paul).

Commuter students

All students are encouraged to vote at the polling location for their home. For out-of-state students, you can find more information about your state requirements at vote.gov.
