The BS in Psychology from CSP follows a highly structured and focused curriculum on critical aspects of human development and behavior.
Foundational studies in general psychology and further on child development and adolescent psychology provide a pathway of deeper study of cognition, learning, and memory, along with explorations of personality theories and abnormal psychology.
Coursework also delves into sciences, including genetics, biology, and physiology and how they apply to psychological studies. In addition, students study practical applications of their field of study, including counseling and research. Coursework opportunities also allow students to explore group counseling as well as forensic and health psychology.
The coursework provides pathways to in-demand careers or further postgraduate study in psychology or medicine.
“CSP’s community is so special because everyone is so welcoming. Even when I first toured campus, all the staff, faculty, and students were extremely helpful, friendly, and supportive.”
