Overview
The Pre-Deaconess Studies program prepares you to serve as a deaconess in The Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod. A deaconess serves in a congregation, hospital, or other institution in local communities or foreign mission fields to bring mercy and human care to others. Pre-deaconess students at Concordia University, St. Paul continue their studies for deaconess certification at one of the seminaries.
