Stephen O’Connor

Associate Professor of Education & Administrator Licensing

Dr. Stephen O’Connor has more than thirty-five years of experience in public education. He began his career as a classroom teacher and has held leadership positions as a building and district administrator, director of curriculum and instruction, and instructional technology.  His related experiences include facilitating and guiding school districts and organizations in the implementation of current and emerging technologies. Stephen has extensive experience in planning for, and organization of, professional development and continuous improvement initiatives for school districts and organizations across Minnesota.  He has also served as an “examiner” for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Program. Stephen is currently an associate professor of education and coordinator of the Ed.S. and Ed.D. administrator licensing programs at Concordia University. His membership in professional organizations includes ISTE, ASQ, ASCD, and MASA.
