Physical Therapist in the Twin Cities Area
Rachael Loman graduated from CSP’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program in May of 2024. Loman plans to work as a Physical Therapist in the Twin Cities area after passing her board certification exam this summer.
Loman searched high and low for a DPT program in the Midwest before coming across Concordia University, St. Paul’s program. After some research, Loman decided CSP was the school for her. “I chose Concordia because of its smaller cohort size and its use of integrated clinical experiences (ICEs), which are essentially mini-clinical experiences you do in your first year of school. I didn’t find any other programs that did that!”
Loman says that the most valuable things CSP gave her were “the sense of community you get the chance to build and the foundational passion for community service it instills!”
CSP stresses the importance of community and works hard to foster a place where all can thrive. Loman says, “the support and love I received from my cohort and faculty is truly next level.” When asked about advice for future students, she says, “Get involved and get to know your classmates! College is really challenging at any level, especially grad school, and feeling like you have a solid support system around you makes it so much more manageable!”
