Contracted Faculty of Practice at Concordia University, St. Paul
Kristine Scallon graduated from Concordia University, St. Paul in 2022 with her Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership. She returned to her alma mater to work as a Contracted Faculty of Practice in CSP’s Ed.D. department.
Scallon highlighted the welcoming educational environment CSP faculty created for her. “I chose CSP because of the Ed.D. faculty. I felt welcomed and supported throughout the application and interview process.”
Scallon received genuine support from CSP faculty that helped her achieve her highest in the Ed.D. program. “Ed.D. coursework prepared me to be successful with my research and dissertation. Instructors, my advisor, and dissertation committee members challenged me to do my best work. They were also very encouraging and reassuring. Any time I reached out for assistance, I received it.”
Scallon emphasized the new career opportunities that opened for her and the relationships she built as a result of the Ed.D. program. “The Ed.D. has opened doors for me, personally and professionally. I have had the opportunity to learn alongside amazing and brilliant people, explore new career opportunities, and even join the CSP Ed.D. department as a faculty of practice; a dream come true!”
