Kaitlyn Stelk

B.S. in Sociology, minor in Psychology 2025

Kaitlyn Stelk, a sociology student at CSP, is set to graduate in 2025 before pursuing post-graduate programs in social work. Stelk says her dream career is to be a social worker in a hospital setting, something her time at CSP is helping her achieve.

Stelk came to CSP as a transfer student wanting to move closer to home while attending a university with a highly regarded program for her desired degree. As a member of the lacrosse team and a participant in the on-campus sociology club, Stelk knows the importance of being involved around campus. “Students knowing they have resources available to them should be recognized within the community.”

CSP’s student resources and a strong sense of community are what stand out to Stelk as some of the best parts of her time at CSP. She highlights the ways in which professors and staff have been helpful resources and examples of leadership across different parts of campus.

When asked what kind of advice she would give to future students, Stelk says, “My advice to incoming students is to get involved within the community, it will help you meet people who can make connections for you in the future.”
