Associate Professor at St. Cloud State University
Glen Irvin graduated in 2013 with a master’s degree in Technology Education, which he now uses in his career as an Associate Professor at St. Cloud State University.
Throughout his career, Irvin has applied his knowledge of technology education to real-life situations, from helping other educators with technology integration plans to launching his own programs in the classroom. “The skills I developed at CSP have been instrumental in helping educators create dynamic, inclusive, and engaging learning environments.”
CSP’s classrooms emphasize innovation and remain up-to-date with the most current tools and technologies, something Irvin appreciated about his program. “Courses were designed with both theory and practical application in mind, allowing me to immediately apply what I was learning.”
Expert faculty who create a personable and caring community within their classroom are a key foundation at Concordia University, St. Paul, both online and on campus. “At CSP, I felt truly supported not only by the faculty, who brought deep expertise and enthusiasm to the field of educational technology but also by the collaborative community of fellow educators. The program connected me with a network of professionals who, like me, were committed to enhancing learning experiences through technology.” He says this aspect gave him the confidence to push himself in his career.
