Executive Director at Wells Fargo
Eric Forstrom, an Organizational and Management Leadership grad, is now an Executive Director for Wells Fargo.
Concordia University, St. Paul emphasizes a well-rounded approach to the classroom. By incorporating a variety of teaching techniques, all of which are applicable in the workforce, CSP stands apart, something that Forstrom noticed during his education experience. “CSP provided me with the education that didn’t just check the box of a college degree, but with the education and skills that made me better in my career in general.”
Having already achieved growth within his career, Forstrom knew that he needed to gain more education and experience to reach the next step in his career. “I found that growth opportunities became more difficult to achieve, as those I was competing against had experience and a post-secondary degree. In order to continue to grow my career well into adulthood, I realized that a college degree was vital.”
Forstrom says that his professors “constantly pushed us and challenged us to think more, better, and differently both about concepts we had experience with and those we didn’t,” and that it “opened my eyes to an entirely new way of looking at information.” Of his professors, Forstrom says that they “did an extraordinary job not just teaching us about critical thinking, but the skills needed to make critical thinking an integral part of our analysis of information.”
