CSR Manager at U.S. Bank
Antonio Harris-Bork, a former student-athlete and business management major, graduated from CSP in 2017. Now, Harris-Bork is a CSR Manager for U.S. Bank, where he uses the education and skills developed by CSP in his everyday responsibilities.
When searching for a university, Harris-Bork found the perfect balance between academics and athletics with Concordia University, St. Paul. He appreciated the holistic approach that CSP takes with all student-athletes finding a balance between school and sports. “The school values not only academic excellence but also personal and athletic development, aligning with your goals as a student-athlete…The university has a vibrant athletics program, allowing you to compete at a high level while balancing academics. This environment fosters personal growth, teamwork, and leadership skills.”
The business curriculum also drew Harris-Bork in by providing a well-rounded education that prepared him for his career. “Concordia’s business program is well-regarded, providing a solid foundation in essential business principles and practices. The curriculum emphasizes practical experience and critical thinking…The business program offers a well-rounded education in finance, management, and economics, equipping you with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary for the banking sector.”
CSP’s emphasis on career readiness provided Harris-Bork with ample opportunities for internships and networking, made even easier by CSP’s convenient Twin Cities location. The supportive environment full of “faculty mentorship and a strong focus on personal development” helped sharpen Harris-Bork’s critical thinking and problem-solving skills, which he says are critical in his banking management role.
