With new record enrollment confirmed in Concordia University, St. Paul’s final census for spring 2025, a closer look at the data shows strong signs of continued expansion.

Total university headcount currently stands at 5,478 across CSP and CSP Global, with new records for:

  • Traditional undergraduate at 1,812
  • CSP Global undergraduate at 1,498
  • Undergraduate in total at 3,310
  • Nursing – BSN/ABSN at 846 across all campuses

The university also saw a significant increase in doctoral program enrollment, with 407 doctoral students, an 18% increase over the past year.

Growth Initiatives

“We’re excited for the Spring 2026 launch of our new masters-level Physician Assistant program, which will provide a great option for people interested in a growing facet of direct patient care,” noted CSP Provost and COO, Dr. Eric LaMott. “The PA program adds to a strong roster of career-propelling masters options, and will draw more people to CSP.”

In addition, our new CSP Global campus in Denver, Colorado, brings 175 more students into the CSP family. Recruiting is underway to expand CSP’s Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program at the Denver campus.

“Our new physical presence in Denver creates another area for expansion as we draw more people into our ABSN pathway for those pursuing nursing careers,” added CSP Global Vice Provost, Dr. Kimberly Craig. “We are also exploring ways to expand our CSP Global degree offerings via the new Denver campus in the foreseeable future.”

Our nursing program is also celebrating recorded enrollment, specifically at our Portland, Oregon campus with 387 students currently admitted in the program there.

While the university noted a decline in masters-level graduate enrollment, this change was anticipated due to some 2024 changes to visa limitations for international students. New options relating to MBA programming in 2025 will help increase graduate enrollment.

CSP and CSP Global continue to stand out among other colleges and universities – many of which are contending with steep enrollment declines. Following the university’s longstanding strategic plan and providing career-relevant programming with competitive tuition, we see continued strength in the years ahead.
