CSP COVID PROTOCOLS & MITIGATION EFFORTS – OCT. 21 UPDATE

event

COVID-19 Information & Resources

Through the first month and a half of the fall 2021 term, Concordia continues to stay ahead of the regional and national curve with regard to the spread of COVID-19.
Higher vaccination rates (over 70 percent in every segment of the campus population) on campus combined with students and employees continuing to act with care and concern towards the campus community and Concordia’s data-driven decisions regarding COVID protocols continue to be the top factors keeping CSP on a much better footing in comparison to the broader community.
We appreciate everyone’s diligence to take smart steps to protect themselves and their fellow CSP community members.
Through Thursday, October 21, the campus has remained in single-digit active COVID-19 positive case counts for students and employees throughout the fall term.
Concordia will continue with its current mask policy as announced on September 23 with a slight easing of the mask requirements on our St. Paul campus:
  • Mask usage is still required in common areas indoors and in classrooms for those who are not vaccinated.
  • Mask usage is strongly encouraged for everyone who is vaccinated.
CSP continues to monitor essential data relating to incidents of COVID on campus, vaccination rates on campus, and variables in the broader community. As such, we will continue to provide updates as needed in the weeks ahead as we make adjustments based on the data we follow.
As always, we encourage everyone to follow Comet’s Commitment each and every day.
