Fall 2024 marks another high water mark for enrollment at Concordia University, St. Paul. The university released the final census for the term in late September, with yet another record-setting academic year spanning the university’s CSP and CSP Global academic divisions.

New record enrollment statistics include:

  • Total university student headcount: 5,928 (up more than 400 students compared to just two years ago)
  • Traditional four-year undergraduate headcount: 2,007 (nearly 300 more than 2023)
    • Includes 1,566 full-time students (up more than 250 versus 2023)
  • CSP Global doctoral program enrollment: 469 (50+% growth over two years)

In addition to record enrollment in doctoral programming, CSP Global undergraduate and graduate program enrollment remained steady from 2023 to 2024, showing the ongoing vitality of the university’s high-value, career-oriented programs.

“With steady enrollment growth over the past decade, Concordia University, St. Paul, is among very few higher education institutions exhibiting such vitality,” noted Dr. Eric LaMott, provost and COO. “Far too many colleges and universities are experiencing steep enrollment declines, forcing them to cut programming and staff. Instead, CSP and CSP Global are vibrant and growing, with exciting new programs launching over the next two years. We have a lot of exciting news to share in the weeks and months ahead, and we’re eager for another great academic year for 2024-25.”

Concordia University, St. Paul, has long been a national leader in competitive tuition strategies, particularly following the 2013 “Tuition Reset.” The university led the nation in aggressive tuition reductions to help make a college degree more accessible to far more people and continues that legacy today as the lowest-cost private university in Minnesota.
