  • CSP Password Requirements

    To help keep our accounts secure, CSP requires active students, staff, and faculty to reset their password every 180 days (6 months).

    CSP’s password requirements are:

    • Minimum of 14 characters
    • At least 1 uppercase letter
    • At least 1 number
    • At least 1 special character

    How do I reset my password if I don’t know my CSP login?

    Contact the I.T. Help Desk at [email protected] or 651-641-8866, and provide the following information for security verification purposes:

    1. Full name
    2. L Number/Student ID or current home address
    3. What account you’re trying to log into (e.g. CSP Connect, Gmail, Blackboard)
    4. Alternate email address where you can be reached

    Please note – If you’ve never logged into your CSP Gmail account before, you will likely be locked out due to 2-step verification. Please ask the help desk to also confirm if your 2-step verification is turned on.

    How do I reset my password if it expired?

    How do I prevent from being locked out of my CSP Accounts?

    Enrolling in our Password Reset Tool is the best way to prevent being locked out in the future. You must enroll in the tool first but once enrolled you can change your password anytime.Your password must be active in order to enroll.

  • How do I connect to the Internet?

    1. Turn on your device, and make sure that Wi-Fi is enabled
    2. Connect to a network called “CSP” from the list of networks
    3. This will prompt you to enter your CSP username and password. This login will be the same credentials used for CSP Connect.

    Issues connecting to CSP Wi-Fi

    If you’ve recently reset your password, you will need to forget the login credentials for CSP and type in your new password. If you are still unable to access the internet, please contact the help desk.

    Guest Network

    Guests who are visiting campus can temporarily connect to the guest network if they are sponsored by an active CSP student or employee. Both the visitor and the sponsor will need to be on campus and go through an approval process for the connection to work. Those instructions will be detailed below:

    1. When on campus, have the visitor connect to a network called CSP Guest on their device. This should open a new window.
    2. On the new window, the visitor will need to enter their information and then the information of their CSP sponsor (name and CSP email).
    3. The sponsor will need to be on campus and connected to the CSP network in order for the visitor to gain access. Once the visitor submits their request the sponsor will receive an email to either approve or deny access.
    4. If access is granted, the visitor will be able to use the CSP guest network for the following 24 hours.

    Wired (Ethernet) Connection

    If users would like to connect their device to the university’s wired network (ethernet port) they will need to register their device. The device’s MAC address will be required for registration.

  • Printer Setup for Personal Device

    1. Go to CSP Cloud Printing
    2. Download and run the installer listed in Step 1
    3. Click Next
    4. Click Finish 6
    5. Go back to the setup webpage and under Step 2 click Connect and get my printers
    6. When Printing Select FollowU [print](Mobility)
    7. You will be prompted to enter your CSP username and password. If it does not prompt you, try printing a test page to see if it works.

    Manage Your Printing Account

    To manage your PaperCut account go to https://papercut2022.csp.edu:9192/app

    1. Log in with your user name and password
    2. Options are located on the left panel of the website
    3. Summary
      • Rates
      • Redeem Card
      • Transfers
      • Transaction History
      • Recent Print Jobs
      • Job pending Release
      • Web Print
      • Log Out

    To submit a web print

    Web Printing can be done through the Papercut website.

    1. Click Web Print on the on the left panel of the website
    2. Click Submit a Job
    3. Click on the Print Options and Account Selection on the bottom right corner
    4. Enter the number of copies and click Upload Documents on the bottom right corner
    5. Drag files into the here box or Upload from computer. Click Upload & Complete
  • Microsoft Office 365

    All active students and employees are provided a Microsoft 356 license. To access your account or install Microsoft Office applications on your device, visit https://www.office.com/ and sign in with your CSP credentials.
    Note for new students: you must be actively taking courses to access Microsoft 365.

    Grammarly

    All active students and employees will be provided a Microsoft 356 license. To access your account visit https://www.grammarly.com/signin and sign in with your CSP credentials.
    Note for new students: you must be actively taking courses to access Grammarly.

    Zoom

    Signing in through the Zoom website

    1. Log into your CSP Zoom account
    2. Click “Sign – In”.
    3. The page should refresh and ask you to sign in with your CSP credentials.

    1. Open the Zoom application and click “Sign – In”
    2. From the list of sign-in options, select “SSO”
    3. Enter csp-edu for the domain name
    4. A new window will open prompting you to log in with your CSP credentials.
