MSOP Prerequisite Criteria
The MS in Orthotics and Prosthetics program is a partnership between Century College and Concordia University, St. Paul. Prior to applying to the MS program at CSP, please ensure the following prerequisite steps are complete.
1. Complete O&P Specific Prerequisites
Complete the Clinical Applications Diploma (OPCA 2000-level coursework) at Century College. If you have not completed these O&P specific prerequisites, please visit Century College’s website for more information.
2. Complete Additional Prerequisite Coursework
Each of the following prerequisite courses must be completed with a C grade (not C-) or better:
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics
- Human Anatomy and Physiology
- Psychology
- Statistics
Upon completion of these necessary prerequisite requirements, please submit your application for admission to CSP.
MSOP CSP Admission Requirements

Create an account and submit our online application. Once submitted, you can follow your application process through the application portal (CSP Account).

Submit official transcripts from an accreditor that is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education stating the conferral of a Bachelor’s degree or higher with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 based on a 4.0 system.
*To be considered official, transcripts must be received in a sealed envelope from the institution or through secured electronic delivery.

Submit official transcripts from Century College stating completion of Clinical Applications Diploma (OPCA 2000-level coursework).
If you are seeking to complete OPCA 2000 level courses at Century College during your first year of the program please reach out to Katie Voss ([email protected] ) or Roger Wagner ([email protected]) to discuss program expectations and receive a letter of support to submit with your CSP application.
If you are applying with your OPCA2090 practicum in progress, you will also need to submit this petition form.

Submit official transcripts from the regionally accredited institution(s) in which prerequisite courses were completed (if not at your bachelor’s degree institution or Century College).
Six prerequisite courses with a C grade (not C-) or better:

The Master of Science in Orthotics and Prosthetics is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (www.caahep.org) upon the recommendation of the National Commission on Orthotic and Prosthetic Education (www.ncope.org). The program has been placed on Probationary Accreditation as of July 23, 2024.
