Getting into MACO Now
Is there a MACO starting this summer? I know I didn’t complete my application in-time for MACO this summer, can I still get in? I am really interested, so when can I get started?
MACO has developed a new starting option to get into the MACO program this July from the 22nd until the 25th during the Workshop on Missional Leadership at Concordia St. Paul. Interested candidates can apply now or they can come to an ‘Option to Explore’ session and begin the application process while they are on campus. During this workshop, along with some supplemental work, the student can earn full graduate level credit for one course and be well on their way to their graduate degree.
On July 22, MACO will have a special session during the day in which prospective students can interact with MACO professors and staff, as well as current and past students of the program and get to know other soon-to-be students at the same time. Also Louise Ehrhart, the Graduate Admissions Counselor, will walk prospective students through the process of applying to MACO.
This hybrid start will be a dynamic and exciting way to explore MACO, involving a high degree of inter-action among other outreach oriented leaders and participants. If you or someone you know is not quite sure about the MACO program, please come to the ‘Option to Explore’ session to see what it is all about. This session will help you to explore MACO and you can see for yourself if it is right for you.
As you may know, MACO’s objective is to equip church leaders with a deepened understanding of the theology of God’s mission andwith the practical tools necessary to enrich the outreach ministries of the church.
