Lindsey Palmer will begin her first season as a student assistant on the Golden Bear coaching staff after two successfull years with the women’s basketball team. In the preseason, Palmer ran the team’s strength & conditioning program and will continue in that role throughout the season as she remains a member of the basketball program. Palmer will also be assisting the coaching staff in muliple aspects of day-to-day operations of the program. Her collegiate career began at Minnesota State University, Mankato where she spent her freshman season. While with the Mavericks, Palmer averaged 2.1 points in 16 games before deciding to transfer to CU for her sophomore season. In her two years with the Golden Bears, Palmer played in 43 games, averaging 3.7 points and burying 51 three-pointers. The three-point specialist was lost for the season to knee injury after 13 games last year. She resides in White Bear Lake, Minn. and is pursuing a degree in kinesiology at Concordia.

College: Started career at Minnesota State and transferred to CU after freshman season. Suited up in 43 games in two seasons with CU, making 51 three-pointers at a 35.4% clip. Is pursuing a degree in kinesiology. Was NSIC All-Academic as a junior.

High School:
A 2004 graduate of Mahtomedi High School. A two-time letterwinner in basketball and volleyball. Was named team MVP and all-conference as a senior and was a member of the B-Honor Roll.

Career: 
Aspires to be a personal trainer, strength & conditioning coach or work in a related sports management field.
