Review Concordia’s Technology Requirements

Students enrolling at Concordia must have access to a laptop that meets Concordia University’s technology requirements. An acceptable device is one that is capable of running a supported operating system (View the hardware and software requirements). Most laptops sold within the last two years will meet these requirements.

Concordia is one of the first universities to partner with Microsoft to license Microsoft Office for all students. This software will be available at no cost to students and the license allows installation on up to five devices owned by the student.

Concordia’s technology requirements are part of our Educational Technology Initiative (ETI). Beginning in the 2014-15 academic year, the ETI will allow students to select and purchase the device that is best for their unique learning needs while also funding a complete network infrastructure overhaul.
