Minoring in Community Health Science involves the study of the social, environmental, and political influencers on the health of individuals and populations. You’ll learn how health threats are spread, treated and prevented. How does lack of access to health care impact epidemics? What are the ethics involved in vaccination programs? What roles do communication and education play in community health? You’ll gain knowledge and skills that are important for any health care career as you take 20 credit hours toward a community health science minor in conjunction with a different bachelor’s degree major.
