Deans Named for CVM and CBOL
Dr. David Lumpp, professor of theology and chair of the department of Theology, has been named dean for the College of Vocation and Ministry. He has been a faculty member at Concordia for 25 years, serving as department chair for the past 11 years, and most recently as interim dean. "Dr. Lumpp is a gifted scholar who will contribute a high level of theological, academic and professional awareness. He has earned the trust of faculty and administrative colleagues. I have great respect for his insights and opinions and know that he will be a strong advocate for his college and the entire university. I look forward to working with David as a member of the academic affairs administrative team."
Professor of Economics Dr. Bruce Corrie has been named dean of the College of Business and Organizational Leadership. Professor of Marketing Management Craig Lien will serve as associate dean for cohort-delivered programs. Both appointments are effective immediately. "This administrative model allows the University to draw on the gifts of both individuals in leading the college," said vice president for Academic Affairs Dr. Bob DeWerff. "Corrie and Lien will begin consulting with colleagues in their college. More detail about any new or modified administrative configurations will be available after that consultation."
