Her smile is the first thing you notice with Sally Baas, but her dedication to training students of color to be teachers is what makes her stand out.
As Director of The Southeast Asian Teacher Program, Sally is a leader in providing training to students of color who are preparing for teaching licensure.
Her professional career has included high school and middle school teaching and she has served as a dean, principal, and school psychologist.
"My personal mission is to prepare culturally responsive school professionals and plant the seeds of peace within in the hearts all with whom I meet," says Sally.
